Raising Cattle with Care on Green Texas Pastures
We are a small family farm that raises cattle in the Bell and Bastrop counties. For the past few years, we have been carefully raising cattle without hormones, grain, or corn finish. We raise our cattle from start to finish to ensure that our beef is both nutritious and delicious.

We raise Akaushi beef cattle, a type of Wagyu beef that is known for its exceptional marbling, tenderness, and rich flavor. It is considered one of the best kinds of beef in the world and is highly sought after by food enthusiasts and chefs alike.

At Lux Beef, we take pride in raising the highest quality Akaushi beef. We carefully raise each animal to ensure the best possible taste and texture. We work diligently to make our beef the best possible, and we're confident you won't be disappointed.

Our Story
Local Family Farm
When we first got into the cattle business, we knew that we wanted to provide something unique that our customers would value. We ended up with Akaushi, a top-notch Japanese breed of cattle with both superior taste and several health benefits.

Since then, we have gone to great lengths to ensure the quality and care of our cattle. Because we want beef that is not only tasty but also healthy, we carefully raise cattle without hormones, grain, or a corn finish. As a small family farm, we know our cattle very well and diligently care for each of them individually. We saw many of our calves just a few hours after they were born, and work with them as they grow. (Our cows now recognize the bell and eagerly run up to us for treats!) We treat our animals with care and diligently tend to them from start to finish.
